On August 1st 2010, we founded our Chinese subsidiary, Shanghai Dokumental Ink Co. Ltd. This new company is situated in the location of the former Shanghai National Ink Ltd.

With our new production plant in China and the new sales organization for Asia we are further improving our presence in the Asian market. We can now work more closely with our Asian customers and are in the position to improve the supply chain significantly.

At the same time we are strengthening our position at our German site by moving the production of the former US factory of National Ink, to our plants in Ludwigshafen and Mittenwald.

The foundation of Shanghai Dokumental Ink Co. Ltd. completes the acquisition of National Ink, USA and Shanghai National Ink, China through Dokumental. We would like to thank our customers for their cooperation during the transition period and are looking forward to enhancing our partnership.

Together with the acquisition of National Ink, we took the chance to re-organize our sales organization to provide more service to our customers.

We are pleased to announce that the former National Ink technical sales manger Luis Chavez is now part of our sales team, being responsible for the total Dokumental business in All Americas. He is working out of San Ysidro, California.

Furthermore Thierry Quentin, our Area Sales Manager for Asia, is now working from his new office in Singapore.

From there he is able to travel to most Asian countries within hours to further strengthen our relationship to our Asian customer base. In addition, the sales team of Shanghai Dokumental Ink, together with our representatives Wahsun and Shanghai Heyu takes care of our Chinese customers.

Gunther Spiess, located in our head office in Ludwigshafen, will serve all customers in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
